Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program for all plant equipment, including pumps, filtration systems, water treatment units, bottling lines, and other assets.
Establish long-term strategies for continuous improvement in equipment uptime and operational efficiency
Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as downtime, mean time to repair (MTTR), and mean time between failures (MTBF).
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
Provide training and development programs for staff to ensure skill growth and adherence to best practices.
Plan work schedules and assign specific duties to team members based on their skills and plant priorities.
Provide technical expertise and support to the operations team to resolve complex engineering and equipment issues.
Lead investigations of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advancements and recommend upgrades to improve plant operations.
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and water industry regulations.
Maintain compliance with environmental and health standards, including those set by local regulatory bodies, ensuring proper water treatment, equipment sanitation, and facility hygiene.
Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans for mechanical and operational issues.
Job Specification
7+ years of maintenance and engineering experience in a manufacturing or utility environment, preferably in the water, beverage, or food industry.
3+ years of management or supervisory experience in maintenance and engineering roles.
In-depth knowledge of water treatment systems, mechanical systems, bottling line equipment, and utilities (pumps, compressors, valves, etc.).
Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the water or beverage industry.
